Factor structure of assertity questionnaire

The authors made an attempt to reduce the number of items on A26 questionnaire by improving factor structure assertiveness questionnaire. Thepreviously carried out development a reliable and valid Russian-language it possible obtain large results, including partially repeating foreign ones, but also showing significant differences in properties assertion among Russian-speaking research participants. Questionnaire includes 26 questions aimed at finding how person behaves relation others, friends, close people he reacts various life situations. Correlation (exploratory confirmatory) analyses original version its A23, reduced 23 items, were out. Thefactorial models A23 questionnaires are presented analysed. Both them contain 1 «confidence» 2 «determination», which include all there two that not included any factors. Model is more strongly associated with indicated factors assertiveness, as well most correlates assertiveness: strategies behaviour conflict, satisfaction (positive connection) shyness (negative connection). At same time, has better uniformity discrimination than A26. Thecorrelation between 0.988. We obtained (A23) best psychometric properties, meets main criteria reliability validity.
